Overview: This chapter describes strategies for self-editing and peer-editing. For self-editing, it is recommended that a simple checklist be used to create a scaffold for teaching and learning. For peer-editing, you can use either stations or an editing table. Because of the conversation that takes place, peer-editing can be a powerful learning tool for learning about grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
